Hotel Chesa Stüva Colani is a small hotel housed in a historic Engadin house, in the heart of the peaceful village of Madulain.
Its origins date back to the 17th century. Over time, the house’s historic and traditional spaces have been carefully restored and reimagined to offer guests an intimate, elegant and welcoming atmosphere, while preserving its connection to the past and the surrounding region.
Artisan-crafted wood, bespoke furnishings, soapstone and fine finishes blend with contemporary elements to create warm and harmonious interiors.
An authentic home surrounded by nature, where you can pause, rediscover your own rhythm and experience the silence and beauty of the Engadin.
From winter 2026, Paolo and Stella will take the helm of Hotel Chesa Stüva Colani.
They have lived in Madulain for ten years, building both their professional and family life here. After ten years managing the Chesa Stüva Colani Restaurant, they have chosen to take care of the hotel as well, accompanying their guests throughout their entire stay.
For them, this new chapter is the natural continuation of a journey that began in the restaurant: no longer simply welcoming guests to the table, but taking care of them from breakfast until they say goodnight.
